WONDEROWQ Series Marine Electric Submersible Pumps
The WONDERO WQ Series Electric Submersible Pumps are engineered specifically for demanding marine and offshore environments. Featuring a stainless steel shaft and upgraded marine-grade seals, these pumps deliver exceptional corrosion resistance against saltwater and aggressive marine conditions. With a versatile power range from 1.5 kW to 15 kW , they are the reliable choice for ship drainage, bilge pumping, irrigation, and industrial water transfer.
Key Features & Marine Advantages
- Stainless Steel Shaft — Specially upgraded from standard carbon steel to marine-grade stainless steel, providing superior resistance to saltwater corrosion and extending service life in offshore operations.
- Upgraded Sealing System — Enhanced seals designed to withstand harsh marine environments, preventing seawater ingress and protecting the motor winding for reliable submerged operation.
- Comprehensive Power Range — From 1.5 kW light-duty models to 15 kW heavy-duty units, covering flow rates from 9 m³/hr to 300 m³/hr and heads up to 60 meters.
- Factory Test Report Included — Every pump is factory-tested and ships with a complete performance test report, ensuring rated parameters are met before delivery.
- IMPA Coded — Full range mapped to marine IMPA codes for easy procurement and inventory management aboard vessels and offshore facilities.
⚠️ Critical: 50Hz vs 60Hz Selection
Frequency must be specified at the time of ordering. Selecting the wrong frequency will result in equipment failure or performance shortfall.
- 60Hz pumps deliver higher head than their 50Hz counterparts due to increased motor speed.
- NEVER run a 50Hz pump on 60Hz power — the motor will over-speed, draw excessive current, and burn out.
- NEVER run a 60Hz pump on 50Hz power — the motor will under-perform, resulting in reduced flow and head that fails to meet specifications.
Always confirm your vessel’s power frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) before placing an order.
Shipboard Recommendation: 30M Head
For shipboard and marine applications, the 30-meter head configuration is the most commonly requested and widely used specification. It provides the optimal balance of pressure and flow for typical vessel drainage, bilge pumping, and ballast water operations.
Recommended Models for 30M Head: 50WQ15-30-3 (3kW, 15 m³/hr, 2″/50 outlet) — ideal for standard shipboard drainage and water transfer tasks.

Why Choose WONDERO WQ Series?
WONDERO has upgraded the WQ series specifically for marine and offshore use. The transition from standard carbon steel to stainless steel shafts, combined with enhanced sealing technology, addresses the single biggest failure point in submersible pumps: corrosion. In saltwater environments, standard pumps suffer rapid shaft pitting and seal degradation. WONDERO’s marine-grade upgrades eliminate these risks, delivering longer service intervals and lower total cost of ownership for vessel operators.
Every unit is tested at the factory and accompanied by a detailed performance test report verifying flow, head, and power consumption against rated specifications. This ensures you receive exactly what you ordered — critical for ships where spare parts and downtime are expensive.
