Aluminum Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump | Air Operated, 1/2" Ports

This aluminum pneumatic diaphragm pump is designed for simple and reliable operation in demanding marine and industrial environments. The air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump handles a wide range of non-aggressive fluids including oil, petroleum-based liquids, and other general process fluids. Its aluminum casing combined with neoprene diaphragms, balls, and valve seats offers excellent durability, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance for long service life.

Safe for use in explosive atmospheres due to its intrinsically safe air-driven design, this pump requires no lubrication and can run dry without damage. It features variable speed and pressure control, dead head capability, and the ability to pass solids up to the port size. With 1/4" air inlet and 1/2" fluid inlet/outlet connections, it delivers a dry suction lift of 19 feet and wet suction lift of 31 feet, making it ideal for transfer, bilge pumping, and waste handling applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fluids can this aluminum diaphragm pump handle?

It is suitable for non-aggressive fluids such as oil, petroleum-based liquids, water, and general process fluids. For aggressive chemicals, consider pumps with stainless steel or Hastelloy casing.

Can this pump run dry?

Yes, the air-operated design allows the pump to run dry without damage, making it safe for applications where fluid supply may be intermittent.

Is this pump safe for use in explosive environments?

Absolutely. Because it is powered by compressed air and has no electrical components, it is intrinsically safe and suitable for hazardous locations.

What are the connection sizes?

The air inlet is 1/4" NPT, and the fluid inlet/outlet ports are 1/2" BSP/NPT female.
