The BS Series Marine Power Adapter Changeover Switch is engineered for reliable DC power source selection and isolation on board small to medium-sized vessels. It is widely installed on cargo ships, container vessels, tankers, offshore support vessels, tugs, and workboats, as well as larger yachts and passenger craft. Typical locations include the engine room, main switchboard, battery management compartment, and emergency power distribution panels. The changeover switch allows the crew to select between battery banks or power sources, isolate circuits for maintenance, and manage emergency power routing — solving the problem of safe, dependable source transfer without the risk of accidental paralleling or arcing.

Available in three models — BS-1 (250A continuous / 500A intermittent), BS-2 (250A continuous / 550A intermittent), and BS-3 (230A continuous / 330A intermittent) — all operating on DC12-24V systems. Each unit is constructed with high-quality contacts and durable housing materials selected for resistance to vibration, humidity, salt-laden air, and temperature fluctuations typical of the marine environment. The series has been tested by a national low-voltage electrical product quality inspection center and conforms to relevant national standards, giving assurance of stable performance and long service life in demanding shipboard conditions.
