Lifeboat & Small Craft Cabin Light CDD12

Designed specifically for lifeboats, rescue boats, and small craft, the CDD12 cabin light provides reliable interior illumination in the most demanding survival situations. It is equally suitable for cabins, crew quarters, offices, corridors, mess rooms, and other enclosed spaces on board cargo ships, container vessels, tankers, and offshore support vessels. When primary lighting fails or during abandon-ship scenarios, this compact fixture ensures that personnel can safely locate equipment, exits, and each other, directly supporting emergency evacuation procedures.

Operating on DC12V with a power draw of 15W, the CDD12 delivers a soft, glare-free effective light intensity of 0.5cd that reduces eye strain during prolonged use. Its sealed, space-efficient housing is engineered for the marine environment, resisting vibration, humidity, and salt-laden air. The unit meets the International Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) Code and IMO resolutions MSC.81(70) and MSC.218(82), and is recognized by classification societies for lifeboat and small craft applications. Installation is straightforward, with a mounting design that allows quick retrofit or newbuild fit.
