Electric De-Scaling Machine AC 110V – Flexible Shaft, Lightweight Hand Tool

This electric de-scaling machine is a flexible-shaft-driven, hand-held scaling tool designed for removing rust, scale, old paint and other surface deposits on ship decks, hulls, tanks and steel structures. The motor is mounted on a skid base and drives the hand tool through a flexible shaft, so the operator only handles a lightweight working head — ideal for corners, edges, vertical surfaces and confined areas where walk-behind machines cannot reach. A wide range of interchangeable working heads is available: scaling heads for heavy rust and scale chipping, and wire brushes for cleaning and polishing, making one machine suitable for the whole surface preparation job.

The machine features a 0.55 kW (3/4 HP) motor with a no-load speed of 3,000 rpm and includes motor overload protection for safe operation. It is supplied with a 3 m cable and comes in AC 110V (IMPA 591241) or AC 220V (IMPA 591242) versions. Weighing only 31 kg, this model is 25% lighter than similar units, reducing operator fatigue during extended use.
