Stainless Steel Scupper Plugs with Chain — IMPA 23

These stainless steel scupper plugs with chain are designed for yachts, motorboats, and commercial vessels to seal deck scuppers and cockpit drains, preventing water ingress and backflow. They are commonly used on cargo ships, container vessels, tankers, offshore support vessels, and workboats, wherever deck drainage must be controlled during maintenance, cleaning, or heavy weather. The attached chain keeps the plug secure and prevents loss overboard, a common problem with loose stoppers.

Manufactured from 304 stainless steel, these plugs offer excellent corrosion resistance in saltwater environments. The plug features a rubber expansion element that compresses to seal the drain pipe. Five sizes are available to fit drain pipe inner diameters from 16–20 mm up to 35–45 mm. Each size has specific top cap, bottom, and rubber dimensions — refer to the specifications table below. The rubber spare parts are also available separately. For proper sealing, the drain pipe inner diameter must be larger than the bottom diameter of the plug.
