Water Activated Tape for Pipe Repair – 5cm x 3.6m

This water activated repair tape is specifically designed for emergency sealing of pipe leaks caused by corrosion or damage. Made from a knitted glass fiber fabric coated with a special polyurethane resin, the tape activates in just 5 seconds when immersed in water. Once activated, it quickly transitions from a wet, tacky state to a hard, durable plastic, forming a permanent bond with most common pipe materials including steel, iron, copper, PVC, and fiberglass.

Ideal for repairing leaks up to 1/8 inch in diameter on pipes up to 2 inches in diameter, this tape performs reliably in temperatures ranging from -29°C to 121°C, with a maximum heat resistance of 150°C. Each set comes individually packaged in a paper box and includes gloves for safe handling.
