Watertight Search Light for Lifeboats & Rescue Boats — IMPA 33

This watertight search light is designed for lifeboats, rescue boats and small craft, and is also widely used on cargo ships, container vessels, tankers and offshore units wherever a reliable, weather-sealed emergency light source is required. Mounted at the boat station or carried aboard the survival craft, it delivers a powerful, focused beam for man-overboard search, rescue operations, launch and recovery, and night-time navigation. Its sealed construction keeps the lamp working in spray, rain and temporary immersion, so crews can depend on it when it matters most.

The unit runs on DC 12V or DC 24V shipboard power and is available in 50W and 80W versions, producing an effective intensity above 2500 cd with a narrow 6° vertical and horizontal beam angle. Continuous working time exceeds 3 hours, and insulation performance is rated ≥10 MΩ in both cold and hot conditions. The housing and sealed cable assembly are built for the marine environment, resisting salt-laden air, vibration and rough handling. A push-button ON/OFF switch sits on top of the handle, and a round hole at the base of the handle allows the lamp to be fixed in position. The sealed body is not intended for user bulb replacement, which protects its watertight integrity.
