The pneumatic vacuum caster base is a mobile trolley platform designed to carry pneumatic vacuum units used for dry recovery and general cleanup on board. It is widely specified for cargo ships, container vessels, tankers, bulk carriers and offshore support vessels, where pneumatic vacuums are used in engine rooms, cargo holds, workshops, pump rooms and accommodation areas. Mounting the vacuum on a caster base lets the crew roll the unit to the work area instead of carrying it, cutting manual handling effort and reducing the risk of lifting injuries during routine housekeeping and spill recovery.

The base is built around a steel platform sized for common pneumatic vacuum body diameters, fitted with four swivel casters for tight-space manoeuvring. The platform finish is treated to withstand humid, salt-laden engine room and deck environments, and the low-profile design keeps the vacuum stable when the unit is running and vibrating.
